Who is Samantha Christy?

Samantha Christy is a registered dietitian, body-neutral personal trainer, and founder of Triple A Wellness in Cleveland, Ohio whose mission is to empower people to live their best lives through movement and balanced nutritional practices. 

Sam has her Master’s in Food Science and Human Nutrition and a BS in Kinesiology and Movement Studies.  She has worked in the fitness industry for over 12 years in multiple modalities with hundreds of clients and coached over 2,000 classes at Orangetheory Fitness.  She prides herself on creating safe and inclusive spaces for all clients, working with people of all shapes, sizes, and backgrounds.Sam offers in-person and virtual personal training in addition to nutrition coaching. 

Sam has a couple of core beliefs: 

  1. Never again eat Halo Top - enjoy the foods you want free of guilt or shame.

  2. Get Strong AF - through strength comes power which then becomes confidence.

  3. Weight has nothing to do with health - it’s just a measure of you versus gravity. 

  4. We deserve to feel GOOD in our bodies! - Body Image is an inside job 

  5. Wear the damn shorts - it’s time to feel good in your skin! 

Outside of coaching and teaching, Sam enjoys spending time with her husband James and dog Rico, in addition to traveling and seeing her favorite artists in concert.

Nutrition & Fitness

Sam offers virtual nutrition counseling in addition to body-neutral fitness coaching. Coaching with Sam involves looking at the overall and larger aspects of our health that include: nutrition, mental health, movement, stress, recovery and sleep, mindset, body image and so much more. Sam uses evidence-based approaches that are backed by research and science to educate you, so you feel confident in your body and food choices. 

During nutrition coaching sessions, Sam will help you develop sustainable and long-term eating habits that work for you and even your family.  Sam uses a health at every size approach, meaning all body sizes are welcome and that you can practice healthy habits regardless of what your body looks like.  Sam believes in intuitive eating and teaches that during nutrition sessions to help you let go of dieting, and find food freedom.  Sam believes that you shouldn’t have to give up your favorite foods, and that we should actually include them.  She uses an all foods fit approach, that allows you to let go of dieting, find food freedom, and allows you to live a more empowered life.

Body Neutral Personal Training

Sam also offers body-neutral personal training meaning your goals go far beyond what we look like.  Sam defines her outlook on fitness as Intuitive Strength - meaning we train to feel strong, and confident in our bodies, so that we can feel more empowered in our daily life.  During training sessions, you will get strong through strength training and also develop self-confidence and improved self-esteem.  Sam believes working out should be fun, and utilizes many modalities including kettlebells, dumbbells, TRX, mini-bands, and other pieces of equipment to lead you through a fun and energizing workout.  Sam offers personal training to those that just want to get strong, but also those looking to heal their relationship with exercise.  Sam offers both in-person and virtual personal training but spaces are limited. 

Sam’s ultimate goal both as a personal trainer and dietitian is to empower you to live your best life.  For you to step into your power, and be your brightest, best self.
